Alasoun struggled on his hurdling debut recently and it is interesting that Evan Williams drops him into a seller now, especially having won in this grade on the flat, but Dr Dream sets a decent standard and gets the vote over Mendip Dane. The selection does have a penalty to carry for his success at Bangor in April but has run to a decent and consistent level since then and he looks the one they all have to beat. Moon Melody is capable but has given little sign of encouragement of late, while Safin has yet to shown any worthwhile form since joining current connections, including when dropped to this grade last time. Sue Smith's Gino is less exposed than most of these after just three starts but has been well held in those outings in bumpers and looks best watched. Former pointer Mendip Dane is similarly lightly raced and has to be considered in this lowly grade but Dr Dream has solid claims and he is preferred.
