Verdict

Carragold and Lean On Pete are course and distance winners but both are returning from lay-offs. So is Competent, who has a shout on last year’s placed efforts at Wolverhampton, while Transmitting was third at Chelmsford in October. INFLEXIBALL has yet to race on Fibresand but found only the progressive Smiley Bagel too good at Wolverhampton recently and John Mackie’s mare should be thereabouts at the finish if handling the surface. Thou Swell landed a seller here in February and Fire In Babylon has won here in the past.
