Coquin d'Alezan can benefit from the Fallon treatment to bat Sydneyroughdiamond and newcomer Bruno Le Truffle. The latter is related to some speedy sorts including Tussle and Crime Of Passion, and if taking to the fibresand at the first time of asking, could easily take a hand in the finish. However, with experience on his side, Coquin d' Alezan gets the nod. The Willie Jarvis inmate is bred to get further, but the way that he has shaped at the two other all-weather track this term strongly suggests that today's trip is as far as he wants at present. He has the pedigree to make a nice hurdler one day, as his dam is related to Istabraq no less, but he has been found a suitable opportunity to open his account on the level. Sydneyroughdiamond was only just touched by the favourite Dragon Slayer over track and trip last time and has more experience than the selection, but does not make the same appeal as he has had many more chances. Russian Cafe is best watched on his return and Sergeant Lewis has gone a bit off the boil, so Coquin d'Alezan is saddled with the vote.
