      Verdict

MONTYS ANGEL didn't appear totally straightforward when still running out a comfortable enough winner on debut for Dan Skelton at Market Rasen and the ex-Irish mare has strong claims of following up here as she incurs no penalty for that Lincolnshire success. Harry Skelton is in the plate this time round and she looks the one to beat in a race in which few arrive in the best of form. The obvious danger is Slaine, open to further progress over hurdles and a useful second in a decent Uttoxeter handicap a few days ago. Moreover, the form of her previous win at Fontwell has been franked with the runner-up winning since. Pixiepot and Murphy's Law are seen as next best.
