BACH DE CLERMONT found only one too good back in maiden company at Taunton last time and has plenty to spare at the weights on these terms with recent Towcester runner-up Elusive Cowboy. Charlie Papa Lima may prove a bigger threat on last month’s second at Fontwell and the latter is also preferred to West Class, well beaten when third at Sedgefield recently. Stonecoldsoba didn’t fare too badly on his hurdling bow and should finish closer to Elusive Cowboy today.
