      Verdict

      Gunslinger came up trumps when dropped into this grade at Lingfield last month. However, his only previous attempt on Fibresand was a poor one and he may have trouble confirming latest running with Jezza. The latter landed a hat-trick at the end of last year, including a win over C&D, but he's looked too high in the weights since and a chance is taken on PARHELION. He's gone close in three starts since returning from lay-off and, if handling this surface, looks to the one to beat. Calculating needs further nowadays and City Stable remains out of form.
