      Verdict

      LEWYN finally made the most of the drop down to this level when scoring at Lingfield three weeks ago. His earlier form in handicaps over this C&D is better then anything today's rivals could muster and should give him the edge over Desert Strike. The latter came out second best in a falsely-run three-runner affair at Wolverhampton last time but looks to have every chance here. Wanchai Whisper has a couple of lengths to find with the selection and Romantic Queen will need to step up on her recent efforts if she's to figure.
