FLORES SEA is marginally preferred to Resplendent Nova and Esteem Machine. A useful performer for David Barron, he attracted the eye of Ruth Carr at the subsequent post sales auction. He could be a very wise purchase for this level as he is ultra-consistent and has few issues in relation to staying the trip. Resplendent Nova won a recent handicap off a mark of 62. It will be interesting to see how he copes with Jamie Spencer rather than Darryll Holland in the plate. Esteem Machine has struggled for form of late though was rated significantly higher than the rest by the BHA. Whether he is capable of running up to his mark is another matter entirely. Royal Dignitary is not the most consistent of creatures but if the ten-year-old has been freshened up by his visit to France, he could be a factor. Sea Land is better known around Dunstall Park but has each-way claims if able to translate his form to this surface. Tin Cha Woody was turned over in a Wolverhampton contest recently though is probably some way better than the last line of form suggests. A competitive enough race for the small amount of prize money and Flores Sea is accordingly recommended.
