Amorist can defy topweight at the expense of Abbeygate, Filey Buoy and Louve Heureuse. There are plenty in with chances here, but Amorist caught the eye with the manner of his victory five days ago. A change of tactics worked wonders for Sir Mark Prescott's charge that day as he cracked out and made all of the running under Jamie Mackay. Given the trainer's expertise in keeping a horse well handicapped, there is definitely more to come, and the three-year-old is taken to gallop his rivals into the ground again. Abbeygate has also been profitable to follow, having gained three wins on this track so far this year. He faces tougher company now though, while Filey Buoy is another that has more to do after his recent Banded success. Louve Heureuse finally opened her career account when scoring here last month, and has since run over hurdles at Leicester. She does at least have the assistance of Eddie Ahern so must not be totally discounted. She is likely to be staying on at the finish, but will do well to get to Amorist who can make all.
