chased winner, ridden 2f out, kept on one pace final furlong
went right start, outpaced 3f out never dangerous
slowly into stride, always behind and outpaced
made all, ridden clear approaching final furlong, stayed on well comfortably
chased leaders, ridden 2f out, kept on one pace final furlong, never troubled leaders
behind and soon pushed along, never able to challenge
in touch, ridden 2f out, stayed on under pressure to go second inside final furlong, no chance with winner
A competitive field goes to post for this maiden and the principals look to be Charlieismydarling, Diamond George and Scottish Exile and we will side with the last named. The filly from the Karl Burke yard was a good third behind Intriguing Glimpse last time and a reproduction of that effort would make her hard to beat. Charlieismydarling could also go well as she was a fair sixth behind Blue Power last time out, but gave the impression that she would be suited by further so for that reason is opposed. Diamond George would have a chance on his best form but appears to have regressed. Of the remainder Velvet Touch is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to stick with Scottish Exile.
