In depth
Verdict
Ventura Dragon has produced his best efforts so far on faster going while the ground also looks a worry for both Polarbrook and Oriental Cross. The former won at Market Rasen back in May while the latter was successful at Newcastle in March and remains 7lb higher. It was only a seller that LESKINFERE finished second in at Stratford last month but he separated higher rated horses than these and may well be good enough to make a winning debut for new connections back in a handicap. Minella Examiner will be sharper for a recent comeback and could prove best of the rest handicapping for the first time on his second start after wind surgery.
