A winner at Bangor last month, GRAND COUREUR found the progressive favourite Heavenly promise too good at Sedgefield last time. But the latter has won again since and the third was narrowly beaten last time so that form looks solid enough in a weak contest. Ballybreen has plenty to find on collateral form but Strictlyadancer finished a bit closer at Stratford on only his second outing over fences. Babytaggle doesn’t look badly treated on his best efforts though hasn’t raced since May and the remainder are harder to recommend.
