In depth

Verdict

No Further Comment looks the one to beat with High Gear and Farington Lodge rating the main dangers. The selection has been second on his last two runs but a reproduction of his latest second behind Combat Drinker sets the standard in there context of this race and he need only run up to that mark to win this. High Gear rates the main danger on his latest third behind Withthelads but he is yard to win with and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Farington Lodge is another worthy of respect on his best form but he continues to be let down by his jumping when full pressure is applied and for that reason he is overlooked. Of the remainder Heather Lad is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but for the winner we return to No Further Comment who gets the confident vote.
