Hartford Starts' two previous runs on the track resulted in poor efforts though he improved a bit last autumn. TOBOGGAN'S GIFT won a seller over the track and trip and ran quite well under a big weight in an amateurs' event at Wolverhampton where she pulled too hard - this looks easier and she can return to winning ways. El Massivo had some decent form on the Flat and over hurdles last summer but has never run here nor has the maiden Henry Smith, who should find a small race soon judged on his only start on this track last month when runner-up.
