Verdict

TATTING goes for a hat-trick having already completed a double here this month. He's shot up the weights as a consequence but has won off a mark this high in the past and this looks another obvious chance. The veteran Art Scholar doesn't have the best of strike-rates on the all-weather and was making his debut on the track when running moderately last month. Edgar gained a course and distance victory in January then followed up over further a couple of weeks later. He didn't do as well over two miles at Wolverhampton and this is more his track and trip. Blades Lad had been chasing before scoring over slightly shorter last month and has to be respected but Hydrant has shown very little lately.
