In depth
Verdict
Miss Fleurie, Johnny Alljays and Compass Point are three against the field in this contest and the vote is given to Miss Fleurie. The selection has been running well in much better races of late and the return to this grade will suit. He need only run up to his best mark to score. Johnny Alljays rates the main danger as he has shown a modicum in his races to date. However, the fact that he has been tried over such a variety of trips does not inspire confidence and he may just need the run as he has not been seen out since August, so for those reasons he is opposed. Compass Point was well beaten in a claimer last time out and although this is slightly easier, he still needs to better his best to take a hand in the finish. Hopeful Mission is from a yard that like a tilt at the ring and he is worth noting in the market, especially as the return to this trip will suit. However, for the winner we return to Miss Fleurie.
