in touch, chased leaders over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
prominent, led over 3f out, headed 1f out, no extra
held up, headway over 2f out, led 1f out, driven out
slowly into stride, behind, pushed along halfway, soon beaten
chased leaders, not much room over 4f out, soon weakened
led, headed over 3f out, weakened over 2f out
chased leaders, ridden and weakened over 3f out
soon outpaced, always behind
held up in touch, headway over 2f out, every chance over 1f out, kept on same pace
This is a desperate seller here but something has to win and the main protagonists look to be Kingsmaite, Formidable Will and Vancouver Gold and the vote is given to Formidable Will. The selection has been in fair form of late in handicaps and has won in this grade many times before. The drop in class is sure to suit and off what looks a fair mark he will be hard to beat. Kingsmaite rates the main danger as he is another that is well in on his best form but he has finished his races very weakly of late and at likely odds is worth taking on. Vancouver Gold is another to factor in on his best form but he has shown very little of late so can't be put forward with any confidence. Of the rest, Tamatave is another dropping in grade and is from a yard in form so from the plot draw he is worth a cautionary look in the market. However, for the winner we will return to Formidable Will.
