Just the four runners for this handicap and of them MORORLESS holds the most convincing claims, so Alan McCabe's filly gets the vote to beat Tealing. Our selection caused an upset when scoring at odds of 14/1 on debut and an opening mark of 64 seems fair. That victory came over course and distance and so with no such concerns today, she's nominated to make it two-from-two for Declan Cannon. Tealing is respected as an unexposed sort with two victories at Southwell and, although his one try at a mile resulted in defeat, there seems every hope that he'll get this far particularly if there's little pace on. A winner off 60 two starts ago, this 7lb higher mark demands more but there may yet be improvement to come from this son of Ishiguru. Lily Lily is preferred to Baby Judge of the rest, having won a maiden here back in December. That victory was over today's trip so conditions should be ideal, whereas Baby Judge hasn't yet raced over a mile and may struggle in the latter stages. This isn't a bad handicap and it's a shame the turnout is short in numbers, but that presents Mororless with a good chance to make a winning handicap debut.
