Mount Royale, gets the vote over Marcus Eile, with Warden Warren, Cheeney Basin and Nicholas Nickleby just a few more in with a shout. Mount Royale was a course and distance winner here in February and bounced back from a couple of poor efforts when a close up second over the course and distance on Saturday. The visor was put back on then and if left on here, can help Nigel Tinkler's charge to get back to winning ways. Marcus Eile has been coming down the weights steadily and although he has failed to progress since running in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom as a two-year-old, should be involved as well. Warden Warren was last of 11 at Wolverhampton at the weekend and has topweight here, but if things fall right for Christine Dunnett's inmate, he could sneak a place at a decent price. Cheeney Basin has shown nothing in two runs for Michael Chapman but had winning form in claiming company two years ago. Nicholas Nickleby won over six furlongs the time before last but had more use made of him that day, and may struggle over the longer trip. An uninspiring contest can go the way of Mount Royale.
