Magic Glade can gain another course and distance success at the expense of Kingsmaite, Little Ridge and Justalord. Magic Glade was successful here in February off a mark of 73 but has paid the price for a couple of decent efforts on Turf in the summer. Hence his trainer has had to run him in slightly better company and he ran a blinder from four-pounds out of the handicap in the feature race here six days ago, finishing second to course specialist Dancing Mystery. A repeat of that run off today's mark should see him go very close indeed. Kingsmaite is likely to find this trip on the short side, but Little Ridge had plenty of winning form over the minimum on turf and can prove dangerous if adapting to the fibresand. Justalord was down the field behind the selection last time but as that was his first outing for 103 days, he can be expected to get a lot closer this time. Not close enough to stop Magic Glade from obliging though.
