In depth

Verdict

NAZREEF is the one to beat in this. He ran well in a couple of hot conditions races at Kempton last month and, considering he's won all four previous starts at this course, Hughie Morrison's charge gets the vote. Multiple Polytrack winner True To Form returns to this track for the first time since being well beaten on his racecourse debut, though he's improved since, while Follow The Flag maybe at home on the Fibresand but today's shorter trip looks a problem. Caldercruix had Close To The Edge just behind when third over 6f here a week ago, but Sound Amigo has more scope for improvement than both those rivals.
