The pick here looks to be LAURELDEANS BEST, while Ask The Oracle can give her most to do. Richard Fahey has his string continuing to go well in the winter months and the selection is tried here for the first time, after a couple of promising efforts at Wolverhampton. The drop back in trip and slower surface make her appealing, and with fitness assured and some advantage at the weights we will side with her. Ask The Oracle patently did not stay 1m 4f at Lingfield last time and although this drop in trip looks a positive it is far from certain to suit even though he is proven on the surface. Sure Fire is another to consider and will appreciate this surface judged on his effort over 1m 4f here last time. He went well enough that day and is open to a fair bit of improvement, so a market check is advised given connections. Rawaaj looks to have a bit to prove, and on this surface stablemate Dubai Creek looks more interesting, given that he has every chance of acting here and over this trip. Laureldeans Best is given the vote.
