Verdict
Having been ridden by a lady rider in his last 21 outings it will be interesting to see how the well handicapped Aberkeen goes for a professional. Duc's Dream, the winner of a claimer here last month, can race off a 1lb lower mark than when last successful in a handicap, while Faraway Look has struggled since winning a couple of races as a three-year-old, although it is possible that he may find improvement for the step up in trip. Useful two-mile chaser Batswing is an interesting runner, but whether he has enough pace to cope with these all-weather specialists remains to be seen. Sudden Flight pays his first visit here and will have no trouble with this surface as he was at home in heavy ground on the turf. From a yard in good form at present, Silver Prophet is worthy of respect. The winner of a Goodwood maiden, he probably turned in his best effort when runner-up to prolific scorer Football Crazy at Sandown on softish ground. That was off a mark of 81, so he would appear well treated here off a 9lbs lower mark. However, Kylkenny reserves his best for here and reunited with Steve Drowne, he is taken to defy top weight.
