Verdict
Although this is the second division of the maiden, it is a seller in all but name, with Beady having a handicap mark of just 58. Bryan Smart has his team in good form and will be hoping for a prominent showing from both Colonnade and Stepastray in the first division, as both of those finished just in front of Beady last time. However, Beady didn't look one to trust that day and is passed over. Deco Star handles this surface well and comes into this in reasonable form. He will be well handled by Brian Reilly and will be difficult to keep out of the frame. The blinkered Wensley Blue didn't shape too badly behind Crunchy here last week and is worthy of respect, but the vote goes to winning hurdler Rock'n Cold, who ran quite well behind San Marco at Lingfield last week. He at least knows what it is like to put his head in front and can take care of some pretty moderate rivals.
