    In depth

    Verdict

Ceanna won a novices' race here in December but pulled much too hard on her reappearance at Newmarket last month. She should do better and has more scope than Slainte Mhath, whose four victories have all been on Turf. FLEURIR (NAP), runner-up to the long odds-on Coppice at Newcastle, makes her handicap debut after a fair run in a Class 2 maiden at Windsor and looks the one to be on. Lady Nagin followed a victory over 6f here with a poor run at Wolverhampton but Starproof will have found 6f too short at Salisbury and has only had three runs.
