Bertha can get off to the best possible start with Reel Man and Cheeky Chili sought as alternatives. The filly is related to plenty of winners including Fly To The Stars, and while good breeding is no guarantee of success, is it to be hoped that she can be ready first time up. Reel Man ran lamentably first time out on handicap debut and sets the benchmark off a mark of 63. Cheeky Chili is a daughter of Olden Times and has a fairly stout pedigree on the dam side. Papuan Princess has been tried against better maidens in the past. Longetivity ran well under positive tactics at Newbury. The market should give us most clues and we are with Bertha.
