      Verdict

      KINGSTREET LADY has to be forgiven a below-par effort when favourite here last time but still finished in front of Celerity. Ruth Carr’s mare had earlier gone close over track and trip with Dapper Man and Archie Stevens behind and is taken to confirm superiority in this. Socialites Red was placed here on her recent reappearance and won off a 6lb higher mark on Turf last year while Nuzha and Grecian Divine have both tumbled down the weights, though the latter was due to run at Chelmsford last night.
