In depth

Verdict

RED STRIPES went close again at Wolverhampton last week but an earlier third over track and trip is more pertinent form given he finished just ahead of Crosse Fire. The latter has every chance on today’s terms but ran a shocker over 6f here a fortnight ago and the former gets the vote. Broadhaven Honey has struggled off higher marks since winning over course and distance in November and Archimedes also won here in between more modest efforts at the track. Tidal's Baby journey’s over from Ireland but hasn’t won since 2013.
