We open this all bumper card with Division One of a maiden over two miles where the market might tell us plenty, however, if building on his promising debut Nicky Henderson's ANQUETTA should score ahead of newcomers Rupin and Takamaru. Connections of the pick would have been encouraged by his opening gambit as he started to pay back some of the ¿38,000 outlay they paid for him by finding just one too good. The form from the race has been given some strength by the fifth placed animal going on to score next time up and with improvement likely he looks the percentage pick. French bred Rupin represents powerful connection who weren't shy at paying a decent sum for the five-year-old. He is related to plenty of winners over fences and any market support for him would be significant. Takamaru is a half brother to the high-class Tamarinbleu so should be talented. His flat relations also suggest this trip should be ideal so David Pipe's charge makes the list while De Forgotten Man has won between the flags so might make experience count in this field. Plenty of these promise much for the future but for now Anquetta look the call.
