ROGER THORPE won an amateurs’ race over track and trip last time with Schottische back in fourth. The latter had earlier finished second to Incurs Four Faults here so the top weight should come out best on collateral form. Billy Bond never threatened the winner when runner-up at this track last time though finished ahead of Uncle Brit while Peace Lilly's recent placed effort came in a maiden race over 7f and she will find this tougher. Dual course winner Quadriga is back on a winning mark but struggling at present.
