Sooqaan failed to cope under a penalty here last time having won over track and trip before that while Port Soif also came up short in amateur company here in November though scored over a mile at the track at this time last year. Fly True has struggled off higher marks since winning over 6f on the Fibresand but ONE MORE CHANCE won her maiden here and ended last year with a placed effort over course and distance. A recent third at Wolverhampton suggests she can notch up her first win since joining Mick Appleby’s yard and she’s preferred to the likes of Hic Bibi, Benjamin Thomas and Robben Rainbow, who all debut on the surface.
