SALEROSA has a remarkable record here and may be worth chancing ahead of the likes of Major Phil and Elusive Fame providing that the price is right. Anne Duffield's mare has five course victories and a second to her name from just six runs at the track so is clearly a formidable force. As Salerosa moves up in the weights she's clearly going to find life harder and she has a 4lb rise to contend with on her seasonal return. Major Phil is clearly of interest given the form of his yard and his pedigree strongly suggests that he'll act on this track and it would be no great surprise were he to actually improve for his first run on the surface but he's unlikely to be much of a price. Elusive Fame hails from a yard with a great track record and he's fully effective over this course and distance but Flores Sea has yet to win beyond seven furlongs so can be opposed on that basis and Fadhb Ar Bith may emerge as a bigger threat having caught the eye under hands and heels behind Flores Sea over seven furlongs last time. An interesting heat but course specialist Salerosa may just represent a spot of value.
