In the bumper that closes out the card YUKON QUEST has looked mildly progressive and gets or suggestion with winning debutante Theredballoon up against it under a penalty but Mawsem could challenge after his own promising first run. After improving in his first two starts the pick stayed on eye-catchingly at Southwell the last time we saw him. His three runs combined just about look the best form on display and have shown he should win a race of this ilk. Theredballoon was a surprise 100/1 winner on debut when coming with a wet sail to land a Huntingdon contest. There should be more to come but the old adage of it's tough to win bumpers under a penalty can be applied. Mawsem carries a nice flat bloodline and chased home the one we've just mentioned on debut. The terms are in his favour to reverse that form so if coming on for the run he should be going very close. Basford Bill is from a stable who do well in these races so a market check is essential to his chances but with some useful enough form under the saddle already we side with Yukon Quest.
