In depth

Verdict

A trappy contest in which top-weight Miss Glory Be makes plenty of appeal. She reopposes her conqueror of February 1 in Cherine (a 40/1 shot on that day) and while Nick Littmoden's charge could be open to improvement, Gay Kelleway's runner has been the model of consistency all season. Pancakehill had been badly out of form for months but Dean Ivory looks to have found the key to her. She is however little better than plating class these days. Littleton Zephyr finished 2 lengths behind on their last meeting and a 2lb reverse at the weights is given here. Star Princess and Promised have been desperately out of form and have duly slipped down the handicap. They remain watched until racecourse performances or market movement suggests otherwise. Cosmic Song was beaten off this mark in selling company but that run was much better than the bare figure suggest. She is moderate but should be thereabouts if the principals fluff their lines.
