In depth

Verdict

Good Humoured's best run came here on his debut so he could feature but with proven form on the sand YANKEE STORM is preferred while First Blade must also be given a chance. The selection has progressed well this season steadily getting closer to his best form. He's won twice at this course in five starts and now two pounds below his last winning weight he can get back on top. Good Humoured was runner up on his debut over course and distance so it's a bit of a surprise connections have waited this long to bring him back. He was well held in third on his handicap debut last time but the two pounds removed from his load should have Sir Mark Prescott's charge in closer order. First Blade comes into the race in good heart having scored last time out in similar company over course and distance. His three pound mark rise looks fair and he could challenge again. Realt Na Mara won here when a pound worse off over the winter so needs respecting but with that one's form dropping off since we like Yankee Storm
