CAPTAIN BELLAMY was a shade disappointing dropping back to 1m6f last time and only managing third. He'd won three times over C&D before that, however, and can turn the tables with the runner-up Boss's Destination back over his optimum trip. Bedouin Bay and Taikoo finished further behind in the same race and look up against it, while Blackmore has something to find with the selection on earlier running here. Bocamix has won twice over hurdles at this course this year with Ginger Grey well behind on one of those occasions, but it could be a different story back on the Flat today as the latter ran well over a shorter distance here last week and should be thereabouts again.
