Quite a few of these have slipped down the weights of late but ACE OF SPIES looks the one most likely to take advantage. He went very close over 7f here last week and Conor Dore's dual C&D winner is the one to beat on that evidence. La Capriosa has been back on a winning mark for a while now without looking like winning and blinkers replace the cheekpieces today, while Gentleman Is Back remained out of sorts despite tumbling down the handicap last year. Juarla can race off the same mark as when scoring at Wolverhampton last May but is equally at home on this surface and he makes more appeal than Gracie's Gift and The Magic Of Rio.
