    Verdict

A competitive claimer here with many in-form rivals in opposition, but the three to concentrate on look to be Game Guru, Cloud Dancer and Blakeset, and the confident vote goes to the last named. The gelding from David Barron¿s yard won well in similar grade last time out when defeating Above Board and with the step back up to seven furlongs and the booking of Jamie Spencer catching the eye, he will be hard to beat. Game Guru rates the main danger having also won well last time out when beating Blakeseven, but he was formerly with David Barron who should know where stands. Cloud Dancer is also worthy of respect after finishing in mid-division in a class C handicap behind Grey Pearl last time and this represents a sharp drop in class so he is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder, Maunby Rocker would have a chance on his best form but he has disappointed of late so cannot be backed with any confidence, and for the winner we return to the in-form Blakeset.
