In depth

Verdict

Copperbottomed can claim this race at the expense of Autumn Charm and Her Name Is Rio. Copperbottomed should be much better suited by today's step back up to seven furlongs as six furlongs has given the impression as being a little on the sharp side. A fair yardstick at this level, he has left Reg Hollinshead and is now trained by the very much in-form Jim Boyle and he can reverse Tuesday's form with Autumn Charm. That rival probably faced a stiff ask at Wolverhampton previously and she arguably got the run of the race on Tuesday. She should confirm earlier form with Her Name Is Rio. The latter now tried under the care of Alan Berry having left Stan Moore. Sir Joey is 0 from 8 thus far. Mama Leo looks out of her depth even at this lowly level. Copperbottomed isnt the most able of individuals but it would be a surprise not to see him taking gold medal position in this race.
