A pretty torrid affair contested by some very slow horses. Best of the bunch could be Roller who ran his best race for some time last time out and has been blessed with an outside draw. The seven-year-old has not won for nearly two years but this is a poor race and he should be too strong for the opposition. Red Delerium comes here in good heart but he is very difficult to win with and can be opposed. On official ratings Nod's Nephew gets the nod but his run last time out does not inspire confidence. Sharp Steel and Didoe will be batttling it out up front for the lead and former of the pair has the ability to win a race of this quality. He could well steal the race if there are hard luck stories in behind.
