Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading rivals but the principals look to be Cyfrwys, Extra Cover and Scrunch and the tentative vote goes to the last named. The selection was a fair fourth behind Alqwah last time. The drop down to six furlongs should suit and in an open affair he is taken to score. Cyfrwys rates the main danger on her latest second behind Compton Plume. That form has since been franked and she will not be far away. Extra Cover is another worthy of respect but he has had plenty of chances and he may find one or two to good. Of the remainder Palvic Moon was a fair third behind Extremely Rare last time and is another with place claims but for the winner we return to Scrunch.
