Best Before can gain his reward for some good placed efforts, with Silver Elite providing the main threat to Jamie Osborne's runner. Runner-up three times in four starts, the selection is closely weighted with Silver Elite on formlines on turf through Pivotal Point. Gay Kelleway's charge is blinkered for the first time today and they could well bring about improvement. This race lacks strength in depth so Holly Ryder, from Paul Cole's stable, could well improve enough on her debut run to play a part, while No Argument, although he has not improved on some two-year-old promise, is now fitted with first-time blinkers and cannot be discounted. Rahjel Sultan was well beaten on his all-weather debut which, admittedly, came at Wolverhampton over a longer trip, and the betting market might provide the best clues to the chances of the others.
