A tough claimer in which Sudra, Waxwing and Feast of Romance all hold claims on the book. Sudra finished second to Nimello in a similar contest at Wolverhampton but was probably flattered by his proximity. That said, he is fairly reliable and should run his usual race. Feast of Romance finished behind Sudra (and was subsequently disqualified) in that race. His better form looks to be at Wolverhampton as his recent efforts at the Nottinghamshire track are little to write home about. Larky's Lob looks to have been campaigned over an inadequate trip in his last couple of runs and should appreciate a step back up in trip. Keen Hands reportedly finished lame when favourite for a handicap at Wolverhampton last time out. His BHB figure looks eyecatching but there is the obvious worry about his long absence from the track. Waxwing is nominated as the tentative selection. She ran a fair race in non-selling grade at Wolverhampton and Darryll Holland looks to be an eyecatching booking aboard the mare.
