          Waverley Road was in fair form in early December but absent since and fitness must be taken on trust

          Mr George Smith shaped with a little promise last time at Lingfield and may be better suited by the Equitrack surface here

          Acid Test capable on his day but not one to rely on

          Prospector's Cove not getting any younger and may just need the run after a three month absence

          Sualtach (IRE) possibly found the extended nine furlings beyond him last time and should find today's trip more to his liking

          Al Mabrook (IRE) little form of late and it would be a shock if he were to figure here

          Hoh Gem not without a chance, trip should suit and could be in the shake-up if on a going day

          Mai Tai (IRE) out of sorts at present and makes little appeal

          Kestral has been in good form this winter but has something to find with Myttons Again on recent running

          Society King (IRE) moody sort who refused to race last time and is best watched

          September Harvest (USA) frustrating sort who is more than capable of landing an event of this grade but tends to find a variety of ways of getting beaten

          Broughton Magic (IRE) little to recommend him at present

          Mind The Silver still looks to need more respite from the handicapper and may struggle again

          Forthechop poor sort with little to recommend him

          Nice Balance (USA) signs of a revival last time and wouldn't need to improve too much to figure here
