Verdict

NATIONAL TRUST should prove very difficult to beat on debut for his new yard as official ratings have him 27lbs clear of his nearest rival, Little Dibber, to whom he has only to concede 6lbs. There are also few concerns with regard to his wellbeing given that he had little trouble obliging in a seller on his final start for Nigel Twiston-Davies although he has yet to win over this trip so his stamina may prove to be the chink in his armour. Kilshannig is tried in a new combination of aids as he reverts to hurdling in a lower class and with McCoy in the saddle and stamina unlikely to be an issue it wouldn't surprise to see them go well. Caheerloch has plenty to find at the weights but did win two handicaps at around this trip in August so can't be dismissed lightly but Little Dibber does have something to prove.
