With such an open field for this bumper our immediate attentions turn to those with experience including Alan Swinbank's Diamond MM, second time runner Landenstown Pearl and Alaska River who ran a decent third at Worcester, but our selection is WITH GRACE. The selection won last time beating Diamond MM who also runs in this race. With similar distance and conditions to go on today the pick should have enough to see off opponents despite a rise in the weights. Diamond MM was unlucky to run out at Kelso two races ago and was a decent second at Bangor last time out. If showing a bit of improvement in this company it could be enough to challenge. Landenstown Pearl finished twelve lengths behind the impressive debut winner Batonnier at Fontwell but the step up in trip should not be a problem given her pedigree. Alaska River was third behind The Merry Giant and Railway Diva at Worcester on her debut and it may pay to observe the result of the fifth race on the card at this course to see if that form was better than it looks on paper. Our selection here is With Grace to get back-to-back wins.
