Verdict

All bar two make their debuts here so tread warily, but the two with experience, Cape Trafalgar and Sahara Silk should at least give you a run for your money, while newcomer Shams Wa Matar is one to note. The latter, trained by Ben Hanbury, is related to high-class Kabool on the dam's side and her future will lie over a much longer trip than she encounters here. She has started to come to herself though and it could be significant that the daughter of Polish Precedent begins her education here rather than on turf. Music magnate Christoper Wright likes to name his horses after well known songs and Good Vibrations is no exception. Wouldn't it be nice if she were to pop in first time, and on breeding she could be a precocious sort. Of the two with form, Sahara Silk is having her fourth outing and is slowly getting the hang of things, but there was a lot to like about Cape Trafalgar's debut at Windsor. Prominent throughout, she only faded in the final furlong in what was a big field, and with normal improvement should be capable of opening her account in this company.
