      Verdict

Silsong is a confident choice to get the better of High and Ihuru. Gay Kelleway's four-year-old rarely runs a bad race and put in another solid enough effort in better company when third to Pearl Island on her penultimate start. A similar run today should suffice. High is well in here on official ratings and has shown enough against better opposition to warrant respect this afternoon. Ihuru is one that certainly has scope for improvement having raced only twice, watch this one closely in the betting market. Of the others Son Of Sophie is no forlorn hope, but in a very weak event Silsong should be good enough to land the spoils.
