Brother Cadfael should be good enough to win what is a very moderate race, with Zeloso and Keltic Rainbow the likeliest alternatives. Keltic Rainbow won a similar race over twelve furlongs here in January, has not been running too badly since then and could well appreciate this step up in trip. Zeloso beat the progressive Annus Iucundus at Lingfield recently but was behind that rival on his only subsequent start and may not be as effective on this fibresand track. Staff Nurse was second in a banded stakes race here last time but seems to face a stiff task at these weights, so we'll side with Brother Cadfael. A course and distance winner in January, he is a fairly consistent performer at this level, and his recent third to Peak Park could well be good enough to win a race like this.
