Verdict

A competitive handicap gets proceedings underway and there is very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Bo McGinty, Lord of The Reins and Desert Opal and the narrow nomination is given to Bo McGinty. The selection was a fair second behind Bazroy last time out, that form looks solid and off the same mark here he looks the one to be on. Lord of The Reins rates the main danger as he beat Strathmore last time out, however this looks more competitive and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Desert Opal was behind Lord Of The Reins last time, is better off at the weights but he is hard to win with. Of the remainder After The Show could improve for the fitting of first time cheekpieces but for the winner we return to Bo McGinty who won well last time out.
